Chien-Ming Wang

Chien-Ming Wang is the one of my favorite athletes. He is now a pitcher in New York Yankee. I like him not because he is a Taiwanese but also because he is humble. He always concentrate his mind before he pitch the ball. Last year was his second year in New York Yankee but he got 16 victories, the most victories in the Major League Baseball. He also became the first Taiwan-born pitcher to win a postseason game in the Major Leagues. So far, he cannot go to court to pitch his first inning in the third year because he was hurt. I hope he can recover soon and help Yankee to win the games.

horrible

There was a horrible accident happen few days age. A Korean immigrant killed 33 people including him on the campus in Virginia Tech with gun. It is the deadliest shooting rampage in modern U.S. history. I actually feel sympathy towards these victims and these victims’ families and also sorry about this gunman. I think he had a mental health problem but he could not get any help. He was always alone and didn’t want to open his mouth to strike up a conversation to others. I think for him there is no reason to live so he chose this way to kill himself. But I think he should not kill others. These people even didn’t know him but they died with no reason. I hope the similar accident couldn’t happen again.

raining

There have been two heavy rains this week! Rain makes subway stuck in the track. Rain makes people got wet. Rain makes me down.
The terrible thing is that the rain are with the heavy wind. Even though you have a umbella, you still got wet!! The funnist thing is that you can see many broken unbrellas "died" on the street. I just bought a new unbella, but it was broken when i used it in the first time. Don't rain!! Give me a blue sky back!!

who am I

Today I went to a speech, and the speaker asked us to write down three to five works to describe myself. When I took subway home, I have been thinking over this question. I am a person who doesn’t like to talk to strangers, and most people think I am quiet when they first meet me. Actually after I am familiar with them, they will say I am a kind of humor. I am a person who likes challenge and doesn’t like unchangeable life. I am a person who hates people who are selfish and don’t respect others thought and feelings. I am a person who likes people who are knowledge but humble. I am a person who likes hang out with my friend but sometimes needs to be alone. I am ................
I think it is a interesting question because it make you think about who you are!! If you don’t understand yourself, how do you ask others to understand you??
P.S today is a Friday the thirteen. I lost my subway card I just bought the day before yesterday!! How sucks!!

Friends

“Friends” is a famous situation-comedy in United Stated. It premiered on 1994 and ended on 2004. The first time I watched it was 2002. I watched it because I want to learn English. After I started watching it, I fall love with that. Although it ended, I still watch them when I am bored now. I bought the complete set of DVD. The show is about six friends in New York as they navigate their way through life and learn to grow up as they approach the third decade of their life. Chandler and Monica are so sweet couple. Although Monica sometimes likes to control everything and Chandler likes to say something not interesting, I think love can make people learn to accept others’ weakness. Ross and Rachel ended up being together after breading up several times. I am so touched when I saw Rachel showed up in the Ross house. Phoebe and Joey are the funniest characters in this show. Sometimes I felt sad, and then I watched the shows. Phoebe and Joey’s conversations in the shows always let me forget the sad things.

Chinese restaurant again

My professor invested us to go to “East”, an “all you can eat” restaurant in flushing on April 5. . Although I just write that I want to try the American food, the reason I went there is the price in flushing’s restaurant lured me and my professor is an Asian. It takes one person $11.5 at lunch time every weekday. You can eat the food you saw there unlimitedly. The dishes they serve are not bad. It includes cooked shrimps (I am a shrimp fever, Ha), lamb, different kinds of sushi, sashimi, roasted chicken wings, Hong Hong’s dim sum, roast Beijing ducks, oysters, fried fishes, egg custards and various kinds of fruits and cakes. Actually, I was so confused about the price. The cost of ingredients here is higher than Taiwan. On the other hand, the price here is lower than Taiwan.
With our big bellies, we decided to go shopping to digest food. We went to queen center mall and try on “a lot of” clothes, but I only bought one great clothes which just cost me $4 dollars and my friend even bought nothing. HA, I like to shopping and eating.
